On the most recent episode of Home of the Year, the judges could not agree on any of the kitchens — from the first home in Cork to the final home in the Galway countryside.
Norma and Stephen Barrett’s home in Cork blew the judges away and they fell in love with room after room. However, Amanda Bone wasn’t impressed with the kitchen as she admitted that she ‘doesn’t understand’ it at all.
Both interior designer, Suzie Mc Adam and architect Amanda felt like the room was like a ‘maze’, although fellow judge Hugh Wallace was head over heels for the space.
The ‘inspiring restoration’ was rewarded a nine from Hugh, an eight from Amanda and an eight from Suzie, which Hugh said was ‘a bit miserable’.
