RTÉ One’s Home of the Year has come back with a well-designed bang for its seventh series and the judges’ were thoroughly impressed with the first three contenders for the title.

Hugh Wallace will need no introduction to fans of the series and this year, he’s joined by two new judges as they cast their expert eyes over 21 hopeful Irish homes.

Suzie McAdam is well placed to judge the best houses in the country as she’s an award-winning interior designer, and Amanda Bone is too as she is an esteemed architect.

Home of the Year will see them travel the length and breadth of the country to judge Ireland’s most impeccable properties, and that journey began at Trish O’Brien’s converted 1900s farmhouse in Co Clare.
