According to media reports, the alleged confrontation took place after Taylor Swift and her dad disembarked from a yacht, and following the megastar’s final Eras Tour concert in Australia.
The photographer, Ben McDonald, told the BBC the singer had already entered a car when Mr. Swift “charged in” and attacked him.
In a statement reported by Australian media, police said they had been told “a 71-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf about 2:30am, before leaving the location.
