The 58-year-old This Morning presenter has released an explosive new memoir, Life's What You Make It, that gives readers an insight into his family life throughout the years.
Phillip, who met Steph when she was working as a production assistant, remembered coming up with the perfect plan to propose to her and decided put it into action over the Christmas period.
In his book, that was released earlier this week, Phillip revealed that he leapt out of bed naked to surprise Steph with his proposal. "I had found exactly the ring I wanted on Bond Street," he wrote in the book.
