Phillip Schofield and Piers Morgan have a famously rocky friendship, and Phil couldn't resist making a dig at him. The This Morning host, 58, took to his Instagram stories on Friday night to post a video of the new rubbish crusher that he's had installed in his kitchen sink.

And Phil joked that he was putting Piers' new book Wake Up down the new gadget, and even shared a video of the book's cover getting crushed down the plug hole.

Phil captioned the post: "New Insinkerator installed, amazing! "Apparently it will dispose of almost anything... @PiersMorgan." He added the kissing and laughing emojis.
