Phillip Schofield jokes This Morning crew member has died in the studio

Phillip Schofield joked that someone had died in the This Morning studio over the weekend and gone undiscovered. As his co-star Holly Willoughby complained that a fly was buzzing around the studio as they came back from the ad-break, Phil suggested the building had become infested.

He jokingly asked if any members of the crew were missing, suggesting that the flies could be buzzing around because of a dead body lying somewhere in the studio.

The camera zoomed in to show a fly, which could be heard buzzing, sitting on a cactus on the table in front of Holly and Phil, distracting them from the links they were meant to be reading out from the teleprompter.
