Having a strong leader at the helm. And we certainly had that with the ‘gaffer’, Walter Smith. In 2009 and 2010, we were neck and neck with Celtic going into the home straight - just like it is now at the top of the Premiership table.
Looking back, I genuinely believe having the great man in charge was absolutely vital in Rangers coming out on top. And dare I say it, but I’m getting a similar feeling right now with Philippe Clement as manager.
