Ole Gunnar Solskjær KSO (Norwegian pronunciation: (About this soundlisten); born 26 February 1973) is a Norwegian professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of English club Manchester United. As a player, he played as a forward and spent most of his career with Manchester United. Solskjær also supervises a training academy for young footballers in his home town of Kristiansund, and is a patron of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust.

Manchester United defender Phil Jones says he regrets not making the most of Manchester United’s 2013 Premier League title win.

United have not won the league since then, when Sir Alex Ferguson led the club to their 20 th league title and retired at the end of that season.

Two second-place finishes is the closest United have been to lifting the trophy but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has built a side capable of going all the way in 2021/2022.

Jones was an integral part of the 2013 side and said that while the moment was “special”, and it’s something not many players can say they have achieved, he didn’t make the most of it at the time. “I just wish, looking back, I’d enjoyed it a bit more,” he told Manchester United’s official podcast.
