Phil Foden believes Mateo Kovacic's aggressive play and ability to wriggle out of tight situations will see him thrive at Manchester City.
Kovacic joined from Chelsea in a £25million deal last month, with the Croatia international brought in to replace Ilkay Gundogan.
The former City captain left the Etihad upon the expiration of his contract, opting against an extension and signing for Barcelona instead.
Kovacic started in the win over Yokohama F. Marinos last week and did so again on Wednesday as goals from James McAtee and Aymeric Laporte handed City a second win of the summer.
