Phil Foden will go on to become Manchester City's next David Silva or Ilkay Gundogan as Rio Ferdinand feels Pep Guardiola does fully trust the England man but has so many quality players at his disposal.
The 22-year-old has found the back of the net 58 times in 208 matches for City since his debut for the club in 2017. He has since gone on to be called up for England too and has three goals in 22 caps for the Three Lions.
Despite his impressive form, Foden has not always been a guaranteed starter for Pep Guardiola's side and that remains a theme this campaign.
In the Premier League alone, Foden has made only 17 starts this campaign.
