Phil Foden is confident that Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland will become the record holder for scoring the most goals in a single Premier League season.

The Norwegian international, recruited from Borussia Dortmund last summer, has excelled in his debut campaign at the Etihad Stadium, scoring a whopping 48 goals in all competitions, 32 of which have come in the Premier League.

He has netted four goals in his last two league outings and will be determined to add to his collection in Wednesday night's titanic clash with Arsenal.

Haaland, as it stands, is just two goals away from equalling Alan Shearer's and Andy Cole's long-standing record of 34 goals in a single Premier League campaign.
