Phil Foden has opened up on his first experiences training with Erling Haaland, after missing Manchester City's pre-season tour, predicting that the new number nine will be hard to stop this season.
Foden was absent from City's two friendlies in the US as he didn't meet the country's entry requirements, but has been training with the team since they returned, as has Haaland.
The pair could both feature in the Community Shield against Liverpool on Saturday at Leicester's King Power Stadium. And Foden lifted the lid on his early impressions of Haaland, agreeing with Jack Grealish's assessment last week that the number nine will be 'unstoppable' when he reaches full fitness. You see with his singing and things," Foden told Sky Sports of Haaland. "He's a great addition to the team, makes everyone laugh and is dead humble which is important when you come to a team that you know what everyone wants.
