During the last show, Perrie addressed the packed crowd, saying: "I have a bit of a throat infection, and my doctor was like, 'You shouldn't be singing, you shouldn't perform.'"I said: 'Tough!' I said there is no way I am missing out on London's O2.

It wasn’t supposed to work out. Girl groups were, notoriously, The X Factor’s most ill-fated export. Many had tried; Kandy Rain, Hope, Belle Amie. All had failed.
