Peter Crouch claims former Liverpool teammate Martin Skrtel was an "absolute nightmare" to play against due to his dirty on-field trick.
The pair spent just half a season together at Anfield as players in 2008 following Skrtel's arrival, before Crouch returned to his old club Portsmouth.
And they met on opposing sides at international level too less than a year later, as Skrtel's Slovakia visited Wembley to face England.
