In an interview with The Times, Peter's pop hey day is described as including a lot of "casual sex, posing and arrogance" which he now regrets, with the 'Mysterious Girl' singer explaining: "It was an insecurity thing, trying to prove a point because of the years that you weren’t accepted.
I don’t like who I became when I was just going with girls and not caring. I just went off on a tangent. " Peter told the publication he went back to his native Australia to spend time with his family and then spent time in the US during six years away from the spotlight before returning to public life as a contestant in 'I'm A Celebrity . . .
