Peter Andre praises ‘brave’ The Wanted for carrying Tom Parker’s coffin

Peter Andre has praised The Wanted as “very brave” for carrying their bandmate Tom Parker’s coffin at his funeral. Max George, Jay McGuiness, Nathan Sykes and Siva Kaneswaran carried Tom’s coffin from the hearse into the service at St Francis of Assis Church in south east London.

Oasis song Live Forever played out as they made their journey into the church, while The Wanted 2012 hit Gold Forever could be heard playing as mourners left.

Writing in his new magazine column, fellow singer Pete, 49, praised the stars for their bravery and told of his sadness at how young Tom was.
