Peter Andre (born 27 February 1973) is an English-born Cypriot-Australian singer, songwriter, businessman, and television personality. He gained popularity as a singer, best known for his singles "Mysterious Girl" and "Flava".
He is also known for appearing on the third series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, and the thirteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, in which he was partnered with Janette Manrara.
Peter Andre has revealed he has no plans to retire at 50 anymore as he sets his sights on Hollywood and YouTube success. The Mysterious Girl singer has confessed he’s been inspired to carry on working after Countdown’s Nick Hewer announced he’s quitting hosting the show when lockdown made him re-evaluate his life.
Writing in this column in New! magazine, the dad-of-four wrote: “Before this year, I had a desire to slow right down and semi rear when I reached 50, but lockdown has also made me re-evaluate and realise I want to push harder and work solidly. “I can’t wait to get back to work properly!” The 47-year-old revealed earlier this year he has grand plans to land a role in a Hollywood film once the pandemic is over.
