Peter Andre defends age gap between James Argent, 34, and his 18 year old girlfriend

TOWIE original James 'Arg' Argent is now dating Stella Turian with the pair looking very happy and in love during a romantic Marbella holiday.

While James, 34, looks smitten with 18 year old film star Stella, Peter Andre has defended the 16 year age difference by reflecting on his relationship with wife Emily.The 49 year old insisted he's never felt the age gap in his marriage with 33 year old Emily.

Speaking to OK! in his column, he shared: "Age is a different thing to different people, on paper things can look a certain way but I think it depends how you are with the person. "I don't think I've ever felt an age gap between us and when you see us together you wouldn't feel there is." Pete - who shares children Amelia, eight, and five year old Theo with Emily - added that he is happy for Arg and his new beau Stella. "I can't comment on anyone else's age differences, but I know at the start of our relationship a lot was said, but now I'm in my 40s and Emily is in her 30s no one ever says anything," he confessed.

Peter started dating Emily back in 2012, before the pair got married three years later. Prior to Emily, Pete married Katie Price in 2005 and welcomed Junior, 17, and 15 year old Princess together - before the couple separated after their three-year-long marriage.
