Writing in his weekly new! magazine column, singer Pete says the teenager "enjoys" make-up but he's "funny" about her sharing snaps as she's a "natural beauty".
The 48 year old's comments came after Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden was criticised for posting a photo of her 10 year old daughter Hollie appearing to wear lipstick.
