Libertines frontman Pete Doherty has claimed that he was once offered a role in Eastenders. As reported in The Mirror, Doherty said he was offered a part in the long-running show, but turned it down – something he says he was later “disappointed” about. He said: “There are a few things that have fallen through over the years that I was a bit disappointed about – opportunities that came up that I didn’t take.“I was going to get a part in EastEnders at one point.
