Perth walking group goes online after concerns

Perth had to change after concerns that a stroll around the Inches might infringe on tightened coronavirus regulations. The weekly wellbeing walk has been scrapped and now those who would have liked to go are being encouraged to talk in a closed Facebook group.Craigie takeaway owner Pete Chan came up with an idea to bring people who were isolated and feeling down to meet others outdoors.

He started Bag O Chips, a Facebook page, with his takeaway China China offering to give a hot snack and a free drink to folk who wanted to meet for a walk and talk along the River Tay and in a loop back to Craigie Cross.

Fitness instructor Paul Garvie of Omega MMA Strength and Conditioning gym and Andys Man Club Perth co-founder Alex McClintock came on.
