Wes Morgan ‘broke the ice’ with Harry Redknapp after awkward England and Jamaica blunder
Leicester City hero Wes Morgan has recalled how he 'broke the ice' with Harry Redknapp after the ex-Tottenham and West Ham United manager once claimed he was unlucky to have never received an England call-up despite already pledging his allegiance to Jamaica.Morgan, 37, made 30 appearances for the Reggae Boyz during his playing days whilst also enjoying a brief stint as captain under Winfried Schafer. And despite being a seasoned player within the Jamaican ranks by the time he won the Premier League with Leicester, Harry Redknapp thought it was a travesty he hadn't been selected to play for England.Speaking exclusively to Ladbrokes at its launch of the 5-A-Side Bet on Leicester v Newcastle, Morgan joked about Redknapp's misunderstanding.
