Emmerdale 's director Tim O'Mara has teased that "eight or nine characters" might be killed off during the ITV soap's 50th anniversary storm stunt week. The director warned that "no one is safe" during an appearance on ITV Yorkshire, teasing: "Viewers are in for a number of surprises!" Tim said: "No one is safe.There's a possibility of eight or nine characters not being around for very long."
