Krishnan Guru-Murthy has announced a big career switch, following his time on Strictly Come Dancing.The 53 year old journalist from Channel 4 News was paired with professional dancer Lauren Oakley on the popular BBC show, but they were voted off earlier this month after losing to Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington in the dreaded dance-off. However, Krishnan has now revealed that his stint on the show has inspired him to pursue a career in music. He shared that seeing his son Jay, 16, perform at Glastonbury Festival with his band Askew, motivated him to reunite his own rock band after many years apart.
