Doctor Who legend Stewart Bevan has died at the age of 93 as emotional tribute to the late star flood in.The beloved actor played the memorable role of Professor Clifford Jones in six episodes of the popular BBC One sci-fi show alongside Jon Pertwee's third rendition of the Doctor in 1973. During the 10th series of the show, Stewart played the role of the loveable Welsh biologist who helped the Doctor to save the world against an evil oil plant.His tragic death was confirmed by ex-partner and co-star Katy Manning - who was cast in the role of the Doctor's companion, Jo Grant - on Monday (21 February) as she shared a touching tribute to him online.
