Obviously the true stans know all about Chris Evans‘ many tattoos. But many can’t help but think of the Marvel alum as Steve Rogers, the virtuous boy scout behind the Captain America shield. They can’t picture him all tatted up… and shirtless… even if they should.

Spoiler Alert for those few who haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame, but it seemed that the sun had set for Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers at the end of the film. However, Chris is in talks to “reprise the role in the MCU in some form,” according to a report from Deadline. Our sister publication claims its insiders say Chris “may return as Steve Rogers aka Captain America in at least one Marvel property with the door open for a second film.” Chris’s return would unlikely be a third Captain America movie, and, per Deadline, “more likely to be like what Robert Downey Jr. did after Iron Man 3, appearing in films like Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

Even though Avengers: Endgame was loaded with many memorable scenes, no marvel fan would ever forget the glorious moment when Steve Rogers aka Captain America lifter Thor’s Mjolnir. After arguing for years, that captain America can lift Thor’s hammer, the fan were delighted to finally see it happening on the big screen and the scene was shear perfection. According to directors Russo Brothers, Chris was just as excited to about lifting the Mjolnir.

Bucky’s fans were very upset after Steve Rogers handed over his Captain America title to Sam Wilson aka Falcon, instead of Bucky in Avengers: Endgame. And during a recent interview, Sebastian Stan, who played Bucky’s character in the Marvel films, shared his thoughts about his character not receiving the shield. Speaking about the creator’s decision to hand over the title to Sam, the Marvel actor noted that it was the right choice.

Actor was initially hesitant to take the role

It's hard to believe that in a few weeks, it will officially be a year since the release of the biggest MCU film to date, Avengers: Endgame. With complete focus on the OG 6 Avengers (Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye), we got to see the ultimate battle against Thanos where the good guys came out on top. As per the latest news reports, the actor while talking on The Graham Norton Show revealed that he will not be returning to play Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flicks. The news reports further state that Chris Evans does not want to make an appearance as Captain America as his last MCU film Avengers: Endgame had in a way closed the chapter for his character.

Chris Evans is definitely most known for his work as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he says almost turned down the role.
