Coronation Street star Isabelle Flanagan and Emmerdale actress Amelia Flanagan both had something to celebrate this week. The ITV soap star siblings posed together for a snap posted by their proud dad after they received some exciting career news.

Coronation Street and Emmerdale collided when the a snap of the Flanagan sisters was posted by their dad on social media. Amelia Flanagan is best known for her role as April Windsor in Emmerdale, while her sister Isabella plays Hope Stape on the ITV cobbles.

Coronation Street's Millie Gibson has shared a morning after pic of her looking sleepy following her win at the British Soap Awards.The actress - who plays Kelly Neelan on the ITV soap - scooped the coveted award for Best Young Performer at the star-studded ceremony.She looked dazzling on the red carpet, exuding old school Hollywood glamour in a cream silk dress with bright red lips and her blonde hair in loose curls cascading down her back.But the 17-year-old looked a little less polished the next day.The snap shared on Instagram showed her wearing a blue and white checked mini dress and a comfy cardigan as she waited at a train station with her co-star Paddy Bever.Millie's hair was still slightly curly but the glam make-up was gone and she looked pretty tired.Paddy, who plays Max Turner on the cobbles, was casual in tracksuit bottoms and a coat, with his eyes covered by dark shades."@paddybever think we enjoyed ourselves last night?" the shot was captioned.Millie also shared a string of snaps showing her at the awards do.She told fans: "A blur, but a pleasure, feeling incredibly honoured. Thank you :)."Her followers flocked to the comments section to congratulate her on scooping the gong."So well deserved," one person posted."You look AMAZING!!!" said another.

EastEnders has made a bit of a habit out of switching its younger actors.The BBC One soap has produced a number of stars over the years, including X-Men's Ben Hardy, who played one of the many iterations of Peter Beale.In June this year, another recasting decision was made as Sonny Kendall replaced Shay Crotty and became the fourth actor to play Kat Slater's eldest son, Tommy Moon.Other soap characters to have been portrayed by a number of youngsters include Lucy Beale, Lauren Branning, Ben Mitchell, Martin Fowler and Steven Beale.In spite of being replaced, a number of the soap's child actors have gone on to remain in the limelight.Ian Beale's eldest daughter Lucy was originally played by Melissa Suffield from 2004 - 2010.
