Coronation Street fans have been left disgusted after uncovering a plot which would have seen Tracy Barlow attempt to bed her own stepbrother.Eagle-eyed Reddit users were scrolling back through the archives for Kate Ford’s first ever appearance on the cobbles as Tracy back in 2002 when they discovered a plot which would see her set her sights on then-bookie Peter.The alcoholic owned the bookies at the time of Tracy’s Christmas arrival back in Weatherfield, and was in a relationship with barmaid Shelley Unwin - before that was thrown into jeopardy by the arrival of Boyzone star Keith Duffy as Ciaran McCarthy.Taking to Reddit, one distracted user penned: "I remember reading somewhere that Tracy Barlow and Peter Barlow were planned to have an affair at one point in the 2000s." They then linked to the original article dated October 2002 from Ananova - a now defunct news site - which read: "Coronation Street’s Tracy Barlow is making a return to the street as a serial man-eater. "A show spokesman says the new Tracy will be sexy, sassy and opinionated.
