Sacha Lord warns 'three out of five Manchester night-time businesses will go bust' in furious blast at Boris Johnson and 'insulting' government campaign
The night-time economy is facing a bleak future with three in every five operators facing closure, it has been warned.Greater Manchester's night time economy adviser Sacha Lord has urged the government to provide more targeted support for the sector.He has also labelled the government's latest 'All In, All Together' campaign, which is encouraging people to return to workplaces, as 'shameful, ignorant and insulting' for those still unable to do so.Describing Boris Johnson's recent television appearances as 'an embarrassment', Sacha has warned that attentions need to turn to those industries that have had to remain closed.According to the Night Time Industries Association, 57 per cent of businesses in the sector will not survive longer than
