Michaela Zee editor Lindsay Lohan is embracing the holiday spirit this fall with Netflix’s rom-com “Falling for Christmas.” Starring Lohan and “Glee” alum Chord Overstreet, the film revolves around a newly engaged and spoiled heiress (Lohan) who, after being diagnosed with amnesia due to a skiing accident, subsequently lands in the care of a blue-collar lodge owner (Overstreet) and his daughter. In addition to Lohan and Overstreet, the film stars Jack Wagner, George Young, Blythe Howard, Chase Ramsey and Olivia Perez. “Falling for Christmas” is directed by Janeen Damian and marks her directorial debut. The “Christmas Waltz” and “Much Ado About Christmas” writer and producer also co-wrote the screenplay with husband Michael Damian (“Hot Tamale,” “Moondance Alexander”), Jeff Bonnett (“Love by the Book”) and Ron Oliver (“Operation Christmas,” “Harvest Moon”). MPCA’s Brad Krevoy and Riviera Films’ Michael Damian serve as producers on the film. MPCA is behind several Netflix Christmas films, including the “A Christmas Prince” franchise, “Operation Christmas Drop” and “A Castle for Christmas.”

“Falling for Christmas” on Monday — which just happens to be Oct. 3, an iconic date from her star-making 2004 flick “Mean Girls.” Lohan — who appears in the holiday film alongside “Glee” alum Chord Overstreet — plays an engaged but snobby hotel heiress who gets hurt in a skiing accident.

Kim Murphy Netflix has revealed the second installment of its two-picture deal with Lindsay Lohan, announcing on Thursday the actress will star in the romantic comedy “Irish Wish.” In the film, Lohan will play Maddie, a bridesmaid attending a wedding in Ireland between her best friend and… the love of her life. After a wish gone awry, Maddie wakes up in a world where she become the betrothed, only to discover that reality isn’t one she really wants. “Irish Wish” will be the second Netflix-set romantic comedy to star Lohan. The first is “Falling for Christmas,” which is set to debut on the streaming service on Nov. 10. The holiday meet-cute features Lohan as a newly engaged heiress who takes a tumble while skiing and wakes up with a case of amnesia.

Yossman The Hallmark Channel is headed to Britain this Christmas for a jolly holiday.The network has cast Will Kemp (“The Christmas Waltz”) and Reshma Shetty (“Blind Spot”) in its upcoming original movie “Jolly Good Christmas,” which will premiere during its annual Countdown to Christmas programming event.The movie was shot entirely on location, from residential areas in the north west of the city to Piccadilly Circus, and promises lots of glimpses of iconic London landmarks.
