Ayr's first dance music festival is '30 years in the making' say organisers
Rave music will return to Ayrshire this week for two mega nights that are 30 years in the making. An army of over 12,000 fans will head for Ayr's first ever dance music festival set to be held over two massive dates. It is understood some 80 buses pour into town with revellers set for a weekender featuring some of the biggest acts of the genre.Saturday will mark an emotional return for Ayr lad Ewan McVicar who will play to a sell-out 7,500 on the Low Green for his very own Pavillion Festival. The 'Tell Me Something Good' star will return 'Back Tae Ayr' for a homecoming set to go down as one of the town's biggest shows. It's a day Ewan from Kincaidston teased to his loyal support was on the horizon with cryptic posts towards the tail end of last year. But his dream gig is now only just days away as he gears up to join top DJs Skream and Optimo in his own backyard this Saturday.
