Get Me Out of Here after he debuted his Australian accent on Monday's episode.Fans joked that the soap legend, played by Patrick Mower, could soon be seeing Ant and Dec, as he referred to the kids as "ankle-biters" and the toilet as the "dunny".And though some branded his Aussie accent 'cringe', Rodney persevered as he chatted to son-in-law Jimmy King.Rodney recently returned from Australia, appearing back in the village just before Jimmy's fatal van crash which killed baddie Paul Ashdale.Fans flocked to Twitter to share their expectations for Rodney's future, with one writing: "Rodney presenting I'm a Celeb in 2021.
