Details were sparse in the initial announcement; currently, there’s no ETA on when this might launch, what it will look like, or what the monetization model will be.The companies said the new property will give kids tools to become “confident creators… in a safe and positive space.” Lego and Epic Games said they have agreed to three principles for a kid-safe metaverse: Protect children’s “right to play” by making safety and well-being a priority; safeguard children’s privacy by putting their best interests first; and empower children and adults with tools that give them control over their digital experience.
