The twinset has been reinvented – and women of all ages can pull it off
The New York Times, she dropped this gem: ‘You can think twinset, but you can’t wear one.’Like all useful statements about style, it will mean different things to different people. I think she’s saying, ‘You can channel the essence of what a twinset is, but don’t necessarily wear one’. This is pretty sound advice that can be applied to all kinds of items one feels one wants to wear, because one has seen someone iconic from another era wear it (in my case that’s nearly always Grace Kelly).
