Fetty Wap has been sentenced to jail time. On Wednesday, a federal judge in New York sentenced the 31-year-old rapper, whose real name is William Junior Maxwell II, to six years' imprisonment and five years of post-release supervision for conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Fetty Wap pleaded guilty on Monday to a conspiracy drug charge that has him facing a minimum of five years in prison. U.S. Magistrate Judge Steven Locke heard the plea in Central Islip on Long Island. No sentencing date has been set.In October, the 31-year-old rapper, whose real name is William Junior Maxwell II, was arrested and indicted on a federal drug charge, along with five other men. Prosecutors alleged that Fetty and the other men «transported, distributed and sold more than 100 kilograms of deadly and addictive drugs, including heroin and fentanyl, on Long Island» between June 2019 and June 2020.Fetty was charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances, while the others were additionally charged with one count of use of firearms in connection with a drug trafficking crime.Per the U.S.

Fetty Wap is now back in police custody after prosecutors allege he wielded a gun and repeatedly threatened to kill someone while on a FaceTime call.According to multiple reports, the «Trap Queen» rapper was arrested Monday in Newark, New Jersey and indicted in federal court in the Eastern District of New York after prosecutors claim in court documents that they obtained a video recording of a FaceTime call in which Fetty -- real name is William Junior Maxwell II — threatened to kill someone.Prosecutors claim the FaceTime call went down on Dec. 11, 2021, and a video recording of that call allegedly shows the rapper pointing a gun at someone and saying, «Imma kill you and everybody you with.» Prosecutors also claim the video shows Fetty saying «I'm gonna kill you» several times, and that Fetty called the person a «rat.» The person on the receiving end of the call is identified only as «John Doe» in the court documents.Due to these findings, a judge revoked Fetty's $500,000 bond for violating the terms of his Nov.

Fetty Wap, real name William Junior Maxwell II, was arrested at the Newark Liberty airport on Friday when police received an alert about his ankle monitor, reported TMZ.  The rapper was put in handcuffs after officers spoke to him and found out he had a warrant out for his arrest. The details of the warrant are not yet clear, but TMZ reports it had something to do with a “public nuisance” out of North Bergen, New Jersey. The outlet also reported that Fetty was arrested and booked for the warrant but will be able to make bail and be released.
