“The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” the 61-year-old actor revealed he wants to know for certain if their brotherly bond is blood.McConaughey, 53, disclosed he and Harrelson could share more than just screen time on Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast last week.The “How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days” star told of a possible romance his mom, Mary Kathlene McCabe, had with Harrelson’s dad, Charles, during the time his parents were divorcing. (McConaughey’s parents divorced twice and married three times.) Harrelson admitted the story is “crazy” as he shared how it all unfolded.“Well, I’ll just say there is some veracity to that thought because we talked to Ma’ Mac, Matthew’s legitimate mother, and she let us know one time … I mean, this is crazy,” Harrelson told Colbert.The “White House Plumbers” actor recalled being in Greece watching a World Cup match when the topic of “regrets” arose.Harrelson said he mentioned that he found it odd that his father, who died in 2007, has “no regrets.”He said McConaughey’s mom shocked him with her reply.“And I have known Ma’ Mac a long time, and she goes, ‘I knew … your father,'” he shared.
