Join thousands of others in getting the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox.A fantastic £800 has been donated to Roar in memory of one of its much-loved members.Janet Bell and her sister Lorna Hughes organised a donation in memory of their dad Jim Anderson, who was a well-known and popular member of the Renfrewshire-wide service for older adults.He sadly passed away in February this year aged 82 and Janet said they knew exactly where any donations in his memory would go.She said: “Our mum Agnes passed six years ago and dad was just lost on his own. They were together 56 years.“My sister and I started looking around for things he could go to.“He started going to Roar groups and loved it.
