Thursday night brought viewers back to the beloved TV town of Pawnee, Indiana to catch up with Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) and the staff of the local Parks and Recreation Dept., all to benefit the Feeding America charity.

Not since the death of Lil' Sebastian have we cried so much about Parks and Recreation.  A Parks and Recreation Special was not sad by any means, and was in fact a very positive half hour despite being set in these current, anxiety-inducing times. But after we watched Bobby Newport (Paul Rudd) read a message from Leslie Knope and that theme song started, tears were falling.

The gang is back together and returning for a big TV special benefiting a good cause.

Leslie Knope, Ron Swanson, Andy Dwyer and the rest of your favorite Pawnee pals are back for A Parks and Recreation Special, a new scripted half hour featuring Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt and the rest of Parks and Recreation's series regular cast reprising their characters for a one-time special to raise money for Feeding America.
