Top Taliban torturer will not be deported from UK - in case he's tortured himself
Taliban and inflicted brutal atrocities including waterboarding and whipping has won the right to stay in the UK.The unnamed 42-year-old successfully argued he would be at risk of being tortured himself if he was sent back to Afghanistan.Officials at the Home Office admitted if they deported him there would be a “real risk” of a breach to his human rights.The brute, who was a child soldier for the extremists in the 1990s, climbed the evil organisation’s ranks after volunteering to fight on the front lines during the bloody Battle of Kabul, reports The Sun.Whilst working as an intelligence commander in control of 300 men he used inhumane torture tactics to force information out of his victims.He claims to have been captured and tortured by a rival group to the Taliban, who call themselves the Northern Alliance.The ordeal left him with “complex mental health problems” before he fled to Britain in 2006.His first attempt to claim asylum was rejected and he was quickly deported before lodging another claim in 2010 which was also rejected.But his third and most recent attempt was successful as he was granted limited leave to remain under the European Convention on Human Rights.It comes following a botched American withdrawal from Afghanistan led to the Taliban quickly re-seizing control of the country.Experts have warned the nation is in danger of once again becoming a breeding ground for terrorism.Head of MI5 Ken McCallum admitted he was concerned about “terrorist infrastructure and networks reconstituting” in the midst of the chaotic transition of power.
