Sarah Paulson is set to play Gwen Shamblin, the founder of a diet program Weigh Down Workshop and Remnant Fellowship, in a scripted version of the investigative docuseries, The Way Down.

Sarah Paulson is set to play a controversial figure in an upcoming HBO Max series. According to Deadline, the 47-year-old actress will play author and cult-like figure Gwen Shamblin. The series will be a scripted adaptation of The Way Down: God, Greed, and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin, an HBO Max docuseries about Shamblin.  New role: Sarah Paulson is set to play a controversial figure in an upcoming HBO Max series (pictured 2018)Michelle Dean will serve as the series' showrunner. Joe Lara, the actor who played Tarzan in the television series Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, passed away in a fatal car crash. As per reports, the 58-year-old actor along with his diet guru wife Gwen Shamblin Lara and five other passengers were involved in the crash of a small jet near Nashville, US.

The star of Tarzan: The Epic Adventures has died after a small plane crash in Tennessee this weekend.
