ITV presenter Declan Donnelly as the Geordie star announced the birth of his second child. The 46-year-old, who is one half of Geordie presenting duo Ant and Dec, confirmed the news with an adorable post on Instagram last night. Dec said they welcomed Jack Anthony Alphonsus into the world shortly before 10am on Saturday.

After over two decades on our screens together, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are back for the 20th series of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. After the spectacular first show last Saturday, 24 February, the boys return tonight for more mayhem. But sadly it's set to be the final series of the popular ITV show, as the boys look set to pursue other projects.

Presenter Declan Donnelly has had a whirlwind few weeks after the tragic loss of his beloved brother in July. However, the month also saw some happiness as Declan, 46, announced that he and wife Ali Astall had welcomed their second child together and named him Jack Anthony Alphonsus. He took to Instagram the day after baby Jack’s arrival to share a sweet picture of the newborn holding his dad’s finger and wrote: “Shortly before 10am yesterday, 23.7.2022, Ali and I welcomed the arrival of our son, Jack Anthony Alphonsus, a very welcome ray of light.
