BBC viewers have been left disappointed after Glasgow-based drama series The Control Room failed to pack a punch.

Netflix has announced a new drama starring Jamie Dornan which is set to be filmed across the Scottish Highlands.

Dornan will star in the series as twin brothers Adam and Lee.

The series will have its world premiere on Peacock in the U.S. on June 27. “The Winter King,” the King Arthur tale based on the novels by Bernard Cornwell, produced by SPT-backed Bad Wolf, and co-commissioned by ITVX for the U.K. and MGM+ in the U.S., has been acquired for the Middle East by BeIN, in India (SonyLIV) and in Australia (Stan). The cast includes Iain De Caestecker, Ellie James and Eddie Marsan.

BBC' s latest must-see drama The Control Room has begun filming in Glasgow. Part of Rose Street in the city centre was closed off for traffic last night in order for filming, as several other city centre streets have restrictions in place.
