Gal Gadot's eight-episode miniseries about Hedy Lamarr, the movie star and godmother of Wi-Fi, just received a straight-to-series order from Apple TV+.The 30-year-spanning historical drama moved from Showtime to Apple due to co-producer Sarah Treem's (The Affair) deteriorating relationship with the cable network, according to Variety.The 35-year-old Wonder Woman star and her producing partner/husband Jaron Varsano will presumably base their biopic on Dr. Ruth Barton's 2010 biography Hedy Lamarr, which Gal read in October.
