Former England cricket star Graham Thorpe died after being struck by a train and had to be indentified by fingerprints, an inquest has heard. At the opening of an inquest into Graham's death, coroner Simon Wickens explained the former cricketer died from “traumatic injuries” after he was hit by a train in Surrey on Sunday 4 August.The coroner added Graham suffered “multiple injuries” and the British Transport Police had identified Graham by his fingerprints following his death.
