Bradley Walsh, 61, has presented on The Chase since it began in 2009, becoming a staple on the show.The presenter has revealed in a new interview that he is watched by lawyers while presenting on the programme to make sure he is delivering the questions properly.Bradley is joined on the show by six Chasers Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ellis.Mark and Shaun have both been on the show since it began, with Anne joining in the second series.The show has been nominated six times at the National Television Awards, winning in 2016, 2017 and 2019.During one episode, Bradley was forced to stop after he tripped over a question's wording, as he detailed what happened in an interview.Speaking to Radio Times about how the show works, Bradley said: "If there is a slight misread, I am stopped immediately – bang – by the lawyers."We have the compliance lawyers in the studio all the time."What you have to do is go back to the start of the question, literally on videotape where my mouth opens – or where it's closed from the previous question – and the question is re-asked."It is stopped to the split second.
