Strictly's Dan Walker's mum more impressed with backstage action than son's dancing
Strictly Come Dancing studio erupted into fits of laughter as Dan Walker explained that his mum had enjoyed the backstage action.The BBC Breakfast star, 44, explained to host Claudia Winkleman, 49, behind-the-scenes that his mum had been really impressed with "car parking", more so than his dancing.He said: "I asked her what she liked and did she like the dance? "The first thing she said was 'Daniel I've got to say the parking is excellent', so my mum is very impressed with the parking situation at Strictly."Dan and the Ukrainian-Slovenian professional dancer took to the stage yesterday to perform the cha-cha. The TV star was transported back in time and even made a trip to his old school to get into the spirit on Saturday's programme.
