DAME Angela Lansbury was the last surviving actress from Hollywood’s Golden Age, who also dominated TV screens in Murder, She Wrote. The star, who died yesterday at the age of 96, was nominated for her first Oscar in 1944 aged 19, and her movie co-stars included Ingrid Bergman, Elizabeth Taylor and Frank Sinatra.
