Jak Knight's cause of death has been revealed, and the young comedian died by suicide.The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office tells ET, the comedian died Thursday and the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. Knight's manner of death was suicide.

US comic - who starred in Netflix’s Big Mouth and Peacock show Bust Down - died on Thursday night in Los Angeles, his family confirmed. No cause of death was given. Knight was most recognised for his voice work on the 2017 series Big Mouth which he also co-wrote for five seasons.

Jak Knight, a heralded stand-up comedian whose work in Hollywood also included him voicing the character of DeVon in the Netflix animated series “Big Mouth”, has died. He was 28.
