The 38-year-old singer just dropped her seventh studio album and it includes the buzzworthy new song, in which Gaga reflects on the way the industry has treated her and the way she’s treated herself. “In the studio, we all kind of shared that love for 90s. ‘Perfect Celebrity’ is sort of like an electro grunge song.

It was also inspired by the Cure, and this song ‘Never Enough’ that I used to play in my apartment, so it had that influence as well,” Gaga said in an Apple Music interview.
