Percy Jackson & The Olympians looks to be a big win for Disney+. While the series narrowly missed Nielsen’s overall streaming Top 10 for the week of December 25 to 31, it did move up to No.
3 on the streaming originals chart with 700M minutes viewed during the week the third episode was released. That’s up 22% from the week prior.
According to Nielsen, about 25% of Percy Jackson‘s audience during this interval was under 17. As Deadline previously reported, the premiere episodes of Percy Jackson have surpassed 26M views on Disney+ since they were released, with the first five episodes all tallying more than 10M views in their first week.
Disney+ is likely expecting some big numbers for the finale on Tuesday. Nielsen data for this current week won’t be available for about a month, but it seems like the series has a good chance of making it on the overall Top 10 in the meantime.
